How can robots become part of our daily lives? Join the School of Decision Sciences and meet our robot doggie up close! Through hands-on interaction, our students explore how quadruped robots may support everyday activities, learning environments, workplace operations, and community services. Beyond the excitement of robotics, this sharing session invites you to think critically about what happens when robots nearby, which are embedded with AI – including issues such as safety, privacy, reliability, human–robot interaction, and responsible decision-making. By bringing emerging technologies into the learning environment, we hope to inspire students to imagine future applications of robotics while developing the awareness needed to evaluate their impact on people, organisations, and society.
